The second game of the 2024 Honor Bowl will be the home game of Host Cathedral Catholic matched up to play Mountain Pointe AZ

The Mountain Pointe Pride traveling from Phoenix, coached by Eric Lauer, will play in their first Honor Bowl and know that this will be a memorable event! Senior QB Robert Knorr will lead his team where in ’23 he had 1075 yards in the air with 9 TDs. Senior WR A’Lysha “Zeke” Rodriguez is Knorr’s go-to target with 492 yards on 23 receptions, 4 TDs, 80 rushing attempts 492 yards and 6 TDs and led the Pride with all-purpose yards. Senior DL Kaleb Jones and Junior LB Jaylyn Colter will shore up with stops as they did in their ’23 season. The 2204 season will be a season to travel – Mountain Pointe will play IMG Academy in Florida the week before coming to San Diego to play in their first Honor Bowl – no fear!
